Garden Crypt Complex and Administration Building

Mekus Studios is currently assisting the Catholic Cemeteries division of the Archdiocese of Chicago with the design of a new garden crypt complex and administration building at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park, Illinois. Consisting of 3,000 crypts, the garden crypt building will be located atop a predominant, 15-foot high ridge in property in order to give the building a sense of prominence. The new 8,000-square foot administration building will consist of offices, a workroom and three chapels for the cemetery. The completion date for the project is anticipated to be Memorial Day, 2005.
